Week One on Gleevec - White Blood Cells Going Down!
It’s time for a health update - Because sometimes God needs a shout out! (Ok, that was probably bad theology, I know He doesn’t NEED the shout out but I’d like to give Him one!) One week on the chemo pill - and IT’S working!!!! (Some people are resistant to certain drugs so this is a praise!). My white count is going down AND the best part - I still have not had any major side effects. (Ok, the swollen eyes feel major to me, but I’m trying to put vanity aside.). That is HUGE with these pills - the side effects can be awful. So I’m praising God for the amazing report one week in. (And I promise not to give a report weekly on Facebook. 😆) He is better to us than we even deserve! This is a favorite picture of mine taken this summer when my daughter was on a missions trip. It expresses my thankfulness perfectly.
